Anyone install an LED modulator or similar for their lights? I'm considering something similar to this:

I'm just curious if anyone has any opinion on whether or not their effective in increasing visibility. Anyone been tagged for it? I couldn't find anything about it being illegal in Canada so I'm curious.
LED Modulators
I have both the pathblazer and tailblazer on both my bikes. Work as described with no wire splicing, just plug and play. As for working, its hard to say. I wouldn't be without it, and I did see a truck back off my tail in suprise when I hit the brakes. They're legal in the states under Federal law. but not sure in Canada.

HAHAHAHAH got the modulator via fedex at 19:20 last night, got the chance to fit it and go for a little ride today. WHOOO WHOOO this thing most definitly gets you noticed. I was coming down a two lane that has a nasty merge and you always have to be carefull, a 320 BMW pulled out in front of me and then immediatly pulled over to the breakdown lane to let me pass. Further on, cars moved over and I noticed oncoming traffic was looking at the bike. This is not something that has been seen here. Kriss.com told me that I was the first South African order that they had. Most impressed, it was easy to install, worked as they said it would. I can have normal beam, high beam with modulator and when it gets dark the lights work as normal. Must try to get a small vid of this.

Ahhh...great information - thanks guys! I did find that Canada allows LED modulators under the same standards as the D.O.T. The link for the standards, under Canadian Law can be found on the link below.
