Good price for a 06 gsxr1000?

guy at Newmarket suzuki offered it for about 14,700 total out the door, msrp in canada is 14,999 i think.

Is this a good price? Also said I have to buy before the end of the month to get a 3yr warrenty.

From a previous post he made, he is getting his M1. Im not from canada, so Im not sure what that means. If it means he doesnt have a license yet, then let the flaming begin!

If your a new rider, please read the stickies in the new rider forum and heed them. A GSX-R1000 is only meant for very experienced riders.

M1 is what you call a learning permit (the thing you get after you pass a written test), and it has about the same restrictions. Oh boy....

I have a buddy who got his M1 and went out and bought a Yamaha R1, which was the first bike he ever sat on....and then dropped fairly quickly..in an intersection.... *chuckles*
