Worst one was working 1st shift for heating/ A/C company and second shift as a computer operator. Neither job was really that bad, but together they killed me. Did that to help my wife out when she was in college.

Best was going to 1 job after wife and I split...

Worst job: Working in oil field, pulling unit, repairing oil wells that have quit pumping crude oil. Dirty work clothes so dirty I just threw them away instead of washing. Worked there 2 or 3 weeks. I QUIT.

Best Job: What I am doing now, changing oil in 18 whlr rigs. Easy work and great bunch of guys to work with. 3 other guys ride bike and others want to ride.

Worst Job: Valet for a saturn dealer, tons and tons of BS to put up with for a measly 5.50/hr

Best Job: my current job, equipment operator for a Lowes distribution center, its fast paced work but they at least make you feel appreciated, pay is decent at 13.00/hr + benefits. nice part is the shift is 4 x 10 hr days so I always get 3 day weekends.

Vet techs should get paid pretty well in So Cal. The ridiculously high prices of most california vets have to go somewhere.

sadly, not really.

people choose it for the love and not so much for the money.

a licensed vet tech (RVT) usually only averages around 16-18/hr. it's not a lot.

you're already in the higher paid group if you go past 20/hr.

so yeah, i do it for the love. i was getting paid more in my previous office job.

Heh...I would laugh except that I've done it....Didn't get paid either lol..

Worst Job: Being a host/buss boy/waiter at the Harbor View Grotto in a little town near the California/Oregon border called Crescent City. I absolutely HATED the owner.

Best Job-Tied: I worked at a Burger King for a while. While the work is shitty, I worked with a lot of my friends and always had fun. The second best was working for a Easter Lily farm in the Lily belt of California (evidentally the only place where easter lily bulbs will grow). It was necessarily fun, but it was a suuuuper good work out (I would lift around 50,000 lbs per 4 hour shift) and by the end of that summer I was a totally ripped person (kinda let that go to hell though  )

best - a lifeguard in highschool, i lived in okinawa and 10-12th grade i was a life guard and worked my way up to assistant manager man that job was bad "O Ring". i had so much fun, and with keys to the pools (there was 4 pools on and off base) we had the bestest parties.

worse - i can agree with the poolcleaning story that "poo poo" sucked.
