I bought a Givi magnetic type...it works fine and stays put. Has a map pocket on the top which I found useful. I also worried about credit cards, cell phone chip etc, in fact the product info carried this warning. Removing it is easy to get to the filller cap and thus it is also easy to steal, carrying it around became a PITA so I ended up buying a top box.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

I use a Cortech "Mini Magnetic" model. The magnets are strong, the bag stays put fine up to 85 mph. At gas stations, I just turn it sideways to uncover the tank filler. It has a nice handle, it's easy to carry around. I don't leave it on the bike when parked.
