Double Bubble windscreen help?

#1 Unread post by FrankyArseneau »

Hi

Today i took my first highway ride with my cbr 600rr. And i notice that the wind is blowing right in my face, maybe due to my height (5 foot 10). To have the wind blow past my helmet i have to tuck in and that is a little inconfortable.

My question is..would a double bubblue windshiel help me get the wind to blow past my helmet. Please give me some advice.

Thanks

The higher the windscreen, the higher the wind is diverted. Verm had one and said he loved it.

Personally I ride a naked for extended highway. You get used to the windblast eventually.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

to me it does make a difference.

small difference when im not fully tuck in.

HUGE difference when im fully tuck in.

but im very slim so when i fully tuck in, i can really hide behind the screen. my height is 5'9".

if your not tucking in then your going to need a really big windshield.

or you could learn to love the wind

I shall answer the question with a question.
Does the new screen sit higher than your head when you are sitting in a comfortable cruising position?

If not, it won't make a lick of difference.
