wow, you guys hijacked my thread. :)

Well just to let you guys know I'm getting the bike on Monday and we agreed on $1600.

Also is a Bill of Sales absolutely required because he said all we needed to do was sign the title over to me and have it notarized.

Lol, yeah, sorry about that.

That seems like a decent price, and I'm not positive, but I would get the bill of sale just in case.

FWIW... there are states that have official Bill of Sale forms... if AZ has one, use it. I usually just wrote up a reciept on a sheet of paper whenever the issue came up for me, but a few times I've wished I had the state bill of sale form.

Start here:

Hmm...looks much easier in California (we don't need no stinkin notary). Shrug.

Back at work
Sorry about the Hijacking!
There would be a really cool signature thingy here if I could figure out how to make one.

Well just to let you guys know I just got the bike, it's in my garage. Paid $1600 for it. Can't ride it until I take my MSF course which I haven't signed up for yet.

Also thanks for all the help guys.

I don't know if you guys care, but I took some pictures of the bike today.

Sorry for the last picture, my car is really dirty.

Sweet man! I am envious...

The under $2000 used bike market in DFW sucks bad.

Thanks, man.

That's how I felt at first but it only took me about 3 months before I found mine on Craigslist. Just keep checking up. They usually get sold really quick. Good luck on finding that perfect starter bike.
