Although ya never know. Might as well try Verm. See if you can get a free ride using their gas, what've ya got to lose (just don't crash).
Why do I believe that he can't help this. I am all for anyone doing what they feel they should, as long as they don't endanger me or anyone I love. But this guy is a posterchild for idiotic sterotypes.

He has little skill but wants the fastest type bikes, because he thinks its cool (to the other small minded people). He also reads books from professionals and 'practices' it on public curvy roads. He crashes and gets his 'popular' bike stolen and still doesn't learn.

Even a donkey wont walk into the same ditch twice. The point is, every bike just about can do more than your skill allows, because you have little skills. The fact that you think a gizzer 1000 is better for turns than a 600 supersport shows how foolish you are. All supersports will own you (and any professional for that matter). You don't look cool in your kiddie getup and you definitely don't look cool when you fall.

Bottom line is get what you like, but don't keep believing that the bike is insufficient for your needs. Any sportbike will go faster than you should, and definitely faster than you can handle. Anyone can go fast in a straight line. If you want to learn race skills go to a trackday. Buy a used race bike (very cheap and easy to get), pay for some track days and practice there. Use the left over money to get you a moped (all this is cheaper than a new gixxer). With your mentality you shouldn't be on public roads either. I just hope you don't die soon, if you don't take my advice.

Just my 2cents.

Yes he bought a bike beyond his skillset but how is he the poster boy for idiotic behavior. He bought all the proper gear, he took the MSF, he has attended skillz day classes. He is not out popping wheelies at 80mph on the street, he generally rides the bike within his capabilities.

I guy from another board just crahsed this past weekend in the twisties on a ninja 250 maybe you should all suggest he gets a BMX bike instead. And as far as his bike being stolen how that an example of his lack of skill or idiotic behavior? Obviously he has learned he is moving down to a less powerful bike and maybe he is not doing it for all the right reasons, but if it is what makes you happy isn't that the best reason to ride.

I had a GS500 for 3 months for my first bike and while i was never bored it was not what i really wanted, so i decided to get what i really wanted bought an R6 and have never been happier. And yes there are guys on GS500 who can pass me in the twisties personally i don't give a "poo poo", i didn't buy this bike to be the best rider out there i bought it because this is what i wanted.

Buying gixxer 1000 is how.

I never debated that you shouldn't buy what you wanted. I know want is the most important thing to you. Notice I said poster child for idiotic behaviour, as in buying a bike more for 'the look' and the gear is only for the look.

Bikes are dangerous we all know that, but if you suck and you ride a bike that is extremely dangerous for anyone (including professionals) crash it, get it stolen (because alot of like minded people want it) then decide to buy another of the same type. Well you see where I'm going with this... On top of that you post about it seems this bike can do what I need. And yes he is always talking about what some book said, and talking about how he watnts to knee dragg etc, but never seen a track day.

Biking is what I love, and people who make it more expensive and or make non-bikers hate us more make me frustrated.

Get a gixxer or a R6, if you have to look good by items. Learn to ride at least to an average skill level first sheesh. And don't give me that bs about bored. You get bored because you want to go 130mph. OOOH I twisted the throttle straight line so I rule. When someone in 30hp bike smokes you in the turns.

No you suck and add no value to the art of motorcycling. You don't have to be very skilled, but at least be safe and appreciate progression.

Btw not many rich or successful people thing you are hot stuff in a gixxer. Usually its other either young, or broke people who think so. Yes a blanket statement and yes I meant to offend.

Really depends on what is in the ditch.... And who is chasing it with what now that I think about it.

That is obvious, so do you want me to add even a donkey wont walk into the same ditch where he got beat in the head with a lead pipe twice (if it lives).

Sure. It sounds more interesting a conversation reading a bunch of what-not about how Verm is such a terrible person. Its getting really old. So he's not doing things the way you think he should. Thats fine. But how many disscussion threads have degraded to people saying this-that-and the other about what a screw up he is. leave it be already.

Your nearly incoherent post reeks of jealousy and not much more. The phrase "you suck" is also not within the spirit of this forum and does very little to prove your point. He had a nicer bike than you, deal with it. There is no rulebook saying that you have to earn your stripes as others have before you get a nice bike. No matter how much you cry on the internet and call people names this won't change. Now where is that dead horse.......
