A friend of mine started his riding career with a Sportster (883, I believe). Hearing him talk about the bike, the culture and the dealers on the east coast is hilarious. If you like the rice rockets good for you. But find something better to do with your time than worry about why some of us like Harleys. Some people like SUVs and some like pick-ups... so what.
Harley is about tradition... and a nice long comfortable ride. Have you ever ridden one?
