I've always thought of it as a "crunchy" sound. They're only squishy if there's a biker in between the cars.

always sad to hear of any biker involved in a crash, even squids. sad for the lady who was driving, it's cliche, but she probably didn't see this guy or thought he was going a lot slower than he actually was.
