New Motorcycle

So, i've healed up enough from my accident that I am going to be getting a new bike within the next few weeks. I am in debate over the Suzuki SV650 and the Ducati Monster 620.

Any advice?

What i understand, they are comperable in horsepower, torque, price and happiness. While the Ducati is $500 more, it's also got a 2yr warrenty. I am looking to you, my forum-friends, to inform me of what a salesman cannot!

SV is a little more powerful. I'd still buy the ducati though, just because it is so sexy. I'd say it is really dependant on which one you like better.

Didn't realize you'd had an accident. Sorry to hear it.

I'd go with the Ducati as well, although realize that it IS an expensive bike to maintain.

Get the Ducati Monster Dark - that bike it bitchin' and is really well priced. Not to take anything away from the SV, but they're rather common. I prefer the uniqueness when biking.

Glad you're well and in high spirits in taking the road again. Good luck with your choice. You really can't go wrong with either bike.

El Duce

Though used, the SV would probably be a bit more cheaper.

I'm gonna say the SV just cause I love it so.

And I'm glad your getting back on after a crash.

The SV650 and the Monster 620 are both good bikes. I would suggest that you go and sit on both of them to see which one you like better. And if you like the way the Monster 620 sits I would spend the extra money and get the 695 :D

Screw em both, get a 599, looks nicer, inline 4, brilliant color scheme, I love em.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
