Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if these leather overpants will be too hot in California in the summer if I just wear shorts underneath?

http://www.newenough.com/tour_master_de ... ctures.htm

I already have Joe Rocket Phoenix suit, so I can use it for commuting on the really hot days (I don't need to go on the freeway), but I am looking for something more durable that I can wear 90% of the time.

thanks in advance.

that looks like a gimmick to me. They don't have any armor and don't zip to the jacket. Probably a little better than regular jeans, but really, my mesh pants have more protection than that.

Draggin jeans aren't a gimmick. They've been around for quite a while. I'l planning on grabbing a pair in the near future. You can get armor that will velcro into the knees as well (which is how the Tourmaster armor is connected).

and I want to have a full suit.

True. So what you're looking for is a jacket/pants combo? Go with their perforated leather pants. You've got a sport cut jacket, get sport cut pants to match.

Or just get a 1 piece suit (not as practical but better protection).

Draggin Jeans a gimmick? No. The add for them shows a man wearing the jeans being dragged on his "O Ring" at about 60 mph. He stands up and then turns around. No jeans. Just kevlar. There light breathable and only about $70.
