I cut my fender using a roto zip and used a couple pieces of 2x4 brace material to hold the tag in place. I cut a spot for the stock signals instead of going to flush mount or integrated ones.
That's the way they come stock. You can either make them turn signals or add extra brake lights. I went the brake light route but now Clear Alternatives makes amber (and other color) covers so they look like turn signals. They also include the wiring.
