AMA Worth it?

#1 Unread post by MetricRider »

So, I'm a newbie. Just waiting for funds to clear my bank before I pick up my first bike (a 97 Vulcan 800), and was wondering if joining the AMA is something I should bother with? Are most riders members? What do they do for you? Is their mag worth the read? If not, what magazines would people recommend for cycle reviews and such?

The mag is very good, click the link in my signature to find out more. I think they are the best organization out there to join. The magazine, insurance discounts, hotel discounts etc. etc. etc. aside... I think it is worth it to join simply because they fight for our "rights" as riders.
