angeles crest starts north of glendale. Takes couple hours to ride it until the road becomes bad, then couple ours to come back. (I haven't been there myself, but that's what I heard)

Yeah takes about an hour and a half before you reach the end of the road then you ride back, on the way back you can hit upper Big Tijunga to AFH to ACH adds about 20 minutes to your ride but worth it.
