How many bike magazines "test" bikes months before they are widely available to the public?
It is entirely possible that what he saw was a ZX-12R or something similar, but who knows.

Won't vouch for this, but if it's real then the busa has been dethroned.

Personally it doesn't matter how you dress it...that's one ugly bike
But if that is true then yeah, it is zippy

Eh, I think the 'busa is just a ugly. Unless you're at the drag strip there's no reason for anything that big and powerful.

Unless you're at a racetrack there's no reason for any of the RR bikes either, but ppl still gobble 'em up like crazy!

I think the freaky side panels on the ZX-14 make it look like some sort of squashed pig hauling truck. But then again, I could just be crazy.

The fact that your crazy has no bearing on the fact that the ZX-14 is just as ugly as the Busa is...

I think the 14 looks better than the busa. Im wondering what suzuki has in store for 2007.
about the only racing you see the busas, blackirds, 12Rs, and now 14Rs doing is drag racing. I have watched a lady run an 8.90 on a busa that she rode to bandimere and rode home.
9.39ET for a basically stock bike LOL makes that VRod destroyer look like a slow POS and its not even street legal.
The local HD dealer actually has a destroyer sitting on the showroom floor, wonder if anyone will actually buy it LOL. I would still love to take a destroyer down the 1/4 just once.

FYI the record for fastest 1/4 put down by a street legal bike was set this last year by a blackbird, iirc it was a very low 7 and his trap speed was a touch over 200

Was that tonge in cheek? I've looked and not found any hard numbers to verify that. I've found some numbers in the high 10's for the quarter mile, 0-60 times just a hair over 3 seconds. Not that it means anything, but the motorhead in me would still like to know.
