yeah i put 40000 miles on mine the only trouble i ever had was the ground wire pulled out of the terminal because of corrosion on the voltage regulator --it was night and when the lights started dimming i pulled in a gas station and found the wire loose and took the screw loose and hooked the wire back up.i have wore out many shoes kicking myself in the ash for getting rid of it.
