If you're worried about wanting more, I've found my bandit very easy to upgrade. So far I've only added a new exhaust, K&N filters, and a timing advance, and it's pushed it up over 140 hp. definately more than I will ever need... (not necessarily want

)

Did you do the timing advancer mod yourself? Is it as simple and effective as it seems to be?

Great. I changed the oil in the VTR last weekend and had the Duck out for a little ride over to TMW World Headquarters. When I arrived, Mike was inside but wouldn't let me in

Now that he is "inner-city", he doesn't want to ackowledge to the neighbors that he knows riff-raff like me

Lets get out there this year......

It came with the exhaust as a kit from holeshot, and I did install it myself. It was simply a part change. Very simple, but I didn't test the new exhaust without the advancer, so I don't know how effective it was, but based on how easy it was, it's definitely worth it.

Last friday I saw what could be considered a homemade predescessor to the bandit 1200.
A guy who just moved to town has an old gixxer 1100 that has been turned into a street fighter. when I first saw it I thought it was a bandit with an aftermarket headlight.

LOL I popped round on Monday night and showed him the stang also let the neighbours know what a V8 sounds like and 1000 watts of stero
So he has no chance with his neighbours now!!!!.
Are you going to get a new ride this season?

Ah, I see.
I am tempted to try the do it yourself method of drilling out the bolt holes on the ignition plate so I can rotate it a couple of degrees. This is apparently as effective as an aftermarket set-up without the $$$.
