Go with an icon retro leather.. Once I saw it i got hooked.. Im buyin one soon.. Was at the shop the other day and they have a whole section on icon gear.. I am liking some of there helmets also.. Might pick up one thoes and use my HJC as a spare..

Also live in Florida and don't know if it's possible to be cool in August even if you rode naked!!!!!!!! Of course then you would be more worried about your burned bum than being hot.

The coaster is a nice jacket. Lots of perf.

Nah......Not in about five years or so. dam residual effects though. Just cant seem to shake em.

well one question kinda related is about makers of gear are there any cheap makers out there that i want to stay away from

for example on cars "poo poo" like apc, or ya know cheaper products. i want to make sure i have good upstanding gear

If it's hot there also consider a perforated leather jacket. Newenough has the perforated Blaster 2.0 jacket for $180 I believe, and kneedraggers.com has two or three AGV Sport perforated leather jackets for around $150 each. Check 'em out. All the protection of leather but a lil' cooler.
