No such thing as a 'Hockeymatch'... it's 'the hockey game', or actually just 'hockey'. Icehockey? never heard of it.... it seems to imply that there is some other type of hockey out there, but we know that's just not true.
Hey we have Hockey. It's a vicious game played by women in very small skirts during the summer.

Do you mean Football, Rugby, American Football (Like Rugby but has body armour and lots of timeouts) or Austrailian no-rules football (A game so vicious it requires 11 referees to administer the no rules and the players aren't allowed sleeves on shirts in case they strangle eachother with them)?

Now, I've watched what I think was an ice hockey game but I wasn't sure. It kind of looked like one long fight with beer commercials...

Can't help you with the football thing, more of a Rugby man myself. Football is allegedly a game played by gentlemen for the benefit of hooligans. Rugby however is a game played by hooligans for the appreciation of gentlemen.

Cricket is easy. Cricket mainly exists as a pleasant way to spend a long, hot dry Sunday afternoon. Several cold beers and a lack of will to do more than applaud politely when someone does something.

Anyone want to go through that list and explain the items? lol... I got a few of them, but not many.

I got the milk, the highway, the pop, the pike, the halloween, and the hockey jokes (and ones related to temperature). But some of those aren't common sense:
Canadian Tire money in the kitchen? Casey and Finnegan? Mickey and 2-4's? ""Could you pass me a serviette, I just dropped my poutine, on the chesterfield."... not a clue.

Canadian Tire is a big chainstore that sells automotive parts, hardware, houseware, electronics, lawn and garden stuff... everything but groceries, basically. The give out 'Canadian Tire money' in corresponding amounts to the amount of real money you give them, redeemable at their stores... not that anyone ever does.

'Kitchen' is the room in a house where we keep the stove, fridge and Canadian Tire money. Also usually where most meals are eaten. And often the place where most folks hangout during big, rowdy parties, probably because of close proximity to the beer...

'Casey and Finnigan' are creepy puppets from a creepy kids show called 'Mr. Dress-up' that played for yearsandyearsandyears, just before Sesame Street came on.

A 'Mikey' is an almost uselessly small bottle of booze but fit into your back pocket well. A '2-4' is case of 24 beers, also called a 'Flat' of beer.

'Serviette is a napkin or sometimes a wetnap kinda thing.

'Poutine' has been covered elsewhere. Fries, cheese and gravy all waiting to give you a coronary. Good stuff.....

'Chesterfield' is a couch.... often stained with poutine.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

But if they do it on ice, don't they have to dress up in ludicrous amounts of body armor? kinda defeats the point
