True, but they were originally introduced to my school (back in the day) by the Goths. Believe it or not once upon a time Goths were jsut metal heads obsessed with death and vampires. Now it's evolved into some wierd "O Ring" alternate despressing culture. Makes me cry inside.

Ah Goths have always been like that in the UK... Not many Goths in the eighties would have been listening to Slayer and Pantera - strictly metalhead territory - Goths were listening to Sisters of Mercy, Fields of the Nephilim, The Cure and any number of other electronic depressing bands.

Goth was the darkside of New Romantic. Surprisingly most Goths in provate have a wicked sense of humor.

I'm old enough to take the micheal out of the new crop of rat kids. (Dress like Goths, take themselves too seriously, listen mostly to Nu-metal & think that Marilyn Manson is Goth)

Oh yeah they also think that they are original and interesting...

Sending them off to investigate Goths bands of twenty years ago is a bit of a mission.
