Thought I'd toss out some pics of the bike, now that is essentially done.

What's the deal with the little blue lights on the front? Riding lights?

That is Waaaayyyy too clean for an old GS. You did a VERY nice job on that bike, Owen. (Even if you had to do it twice. - Lord knows I've been there myself more than once. )

I need more guys like you around here to ride with. Too many "buy a rocket with someone else's money, then die or lose interest" types around here.

those are my auxiliary driving lights - dual 55W H4 halogen bulbs. They really light up the road ahead of me at night, easily drowning out my headlight, even when it's on hi-beam.

I'm more of a long distance rider, so I wind up doing a lot of night riding, and with the critters that we have in Alberta.........

more light - more warning.

That's just because you can't see the oil that is still all over the front of the engine, on the frame tubes, the footpegs, etc....

and those pics were taken after I washed the bike :|

I'm sure a lot of purists would be horrified to find out that my mufflers and my windscreen are stock H-D pieces :D

What is this "riding season" you guys keep refering to? By the way I really liked the seat and overall look of the bike. Looks like you have spent some quality time with your machine. 8)
