Yup Mikuni. Oh I have already cleaned the carbs. The bike was not warmed up when it stalled. just running with whatever fuel was in the carb bowls. (still have fitted the gas-tank back on).
So I guess thats why it stalled. Thx.

Whts that?... I did get it running BTW need a new throttle cable tho. While cleaning the carbs, I sprayed carb cleaner down every orifice I found, finished off two whole cans of carb cleaner.
So where is this g-spot on the carbs anyway??

it is in the float bowl--there is a hole in the top of the bowl where the gasket surface is--there is a long pipe in the carb. body that fits in this hole--that pipe is your idle circuit--at the bottom of the hole there is a tiny hole that lets gas in from the float bowl to fill up the hole where the pipe goes--this tiny hole is at an angle--if it has ever set with gas in it for long periods the tiny hole will be stopped up--carb cleaner wont unstop it--if you pull carbs again take a small drill bit and run it by hand down where the pipe goes to get crud out--then pull a wire out of a wire brush and dig the crud out of the tiny hole from inside the bowl--when you think it is clean take an eyedropper and fill up hole where pipe goes with water--if it is clean water will run into bowl--then fill bowl with water and see if it fills up hole where pipe goes--when it will fill the big hole you can idle.
