oh yea..i usually drive my orange turd to work and back and then take the gixxer out on the weekends or when i feel "playfull"..haha
we just got back from talledega race track and had a great time..12 of us went..although i look like a giant sausage in my leathers..haha
Living about 2 hours from atlanta, we go up to rad atlanta a lot..thats a tough course!!!..if i lived closer-i would have no life and live at that track..in the last year i have spent most of my time turning the sabre into a sleeper and also to get it the way i want it to look..
Hows your bike doing??

cool!
some day, i'll get track days too.
anyway... i crashed couple of weeks ago. hit some loose gravel mid-turn and lost control in a canyon.
bike only suffered cosmetic damage but both sides since i hit a guard rail, i still rode after the crash and didn't feel any wobble or anything.
i was weaing my 1pc and i was unscathed.
bike's not so bad now... i've touched up the fairings, plastic welded and used fiberglass kit to attach a broken piece of fairing.
i'll replace the fairings once i get better at canyon riding.

When i get a new helmet, my TMW sticker is going on the back over the dot/snell sticker.

we go do the mountain riding alot(tail of the dragon is a good example) but by no means the hardest i have ever ridden..i cant tell you how many times i slid on those (took the fairings off)..some of the best fun on a bike i have ever had..when you dont have to "worry" as much about the bike-the fun factor goes up(everybody should own an older "junk" crotch rocket to go ride hard on..dont know about canyon driving but back/forth-up/down(i assume its about the same) twistie turning is hard on the body and the wrists but hella fun..

You know, if you stopped by all that 'cheap' chintzy, glitzy krap everytime you got bored, you could have bought a manual and had a good start on some tools by now..... it's only $10-20 here and there, but if you add it up, you'd have something worthwhile.....
Just thinkin' out loud.....
