How's the 599 treating you Seetrout?

I've put about 350km on mine in the last 2 weeks.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I,ve got about 800 miles on her again now.
I have even been back to the scene of the crime twice now.
A little scary even though the road has been repaired since the crash since it's a high speed area.

It would like really suck to hit a bird.
While we were going down the road in my buddy's van once me and two other guys were talking about something and the driver was paying attention to the road (rare, isn't it?) and suddenly he screams "DUCK!" so our first instinct is to hunch down and then we hear a "thump" and my friend starts busting out laughing and going "ahh we just hit a freaking duck!"

The rest of us felt like idiots..
