You would probably enjoy riding more if you stopped analyzing everything so much. I really dont care who wears or drives what or what they look likem who am I to judge? If that's what they want, then good for them. I think it's great to have that much variety out there, otherwise the sport would just be monotonous.

What I don't understand about that rant, is how you could gather that much animosity and anger from a post like that one. Those same "fake riders" you seem to hate so much, may end up saving your resentful arse. I think, at some time you were that fake rider yourself. Did you forget back when you started riding? Your first ride ever was in calgary in January? I don't think so. You need a chill pill and a hug my friend. You're way to angry. Buy a dog.

this thread sure did backfire on you didnt it?

haha

mostly , people on this site are fairly open minded, so your broad generalizations and stereotypes wont really go over here to well. Seems you havent figured that out yet, or just dont care. I have to admit I havent heard the term "wigger" for a while. Thats probably a good thing though.

All of that aside, it doesnt make you any less of a biker just becacuse you cant afford a new one, so stop trying to make up for it :)

LoL I was thinking exactly this as well. Riders are riders, regardless of how much you ride or what you ride we all ride. We have a lot more in common than not. Relax and talk to some of them, you might find they'd love to get out a bit more, but life gets in the way.

Durnit Verm! Why'd you have to post that picture! I feel like less of a man...the urge to refer to that...beat, as a "cute puppsy wuppsy"

Anyways, back to the topic. Really, I'm not "against" any aspect of biking. I think that what alot of people do is stupid (tee-shirts, shorts, sandals on a literbike for example) but I'm not "against" anything persay.

Stunting, I think that it's foolish and dangerous to do on an active road, but in a controlled environment such as a track or an empty parking lot it's alright in my book. If they wanna wreck their own bike I'm not going to complain. Racing, on the street it's foolish, on a track it's fine with me. It's all about location really.

And lets not forget the motorcross riders there buddy. You're comments encompass them. They only go out in good conditions (or inside for that matter) and have bikes for the sole purpose of going fast and flying high (which I would consider "stunting"). Are they posers?

Not all motorcyclist are the same, and they don't all conform to your very narrow idea of what a motorcyclist should be. I think you need to branch out!

Who made you the authority on who's a "genuine" bike and who's a poser? And even so, why does someone who only wants to go ride on nice days instantly become a poser? Maybe...just maybe...they don't feel as safe on bad weather days. So...wanting to be as safe as possible while on 2 wheels...that must make you a poser as well...

There are MANY different types of bikers. Don't try labeling them just because you're feeling angry...

So, with your one month of riding experience you are informed enough to call most riders fake?? You need to meet more riders in person to put a check on your ill-informed assumptions.

I ride my bike exclusively for fun. I dont commute on it and I dont ride in adverse weather. This was the exact advice I got from a rider of 25+ years. In his 25 years of riding a sportbike, he has never been in an accident. He is an expert and aggressive rider also.

I dont ride in adverse weather, not because I cant control my bike, but because people cant control their cars. I dont commute on my bike, not because I dont like riding my bike on a daily basis, but because Im not going to give cages that much of an opportunity to kill me.
