Sorry to hear that, they're real bastards. As much as I'd love for you to kick their "O Ring", and teach them a lesson it's probably best to go the route that Loonette recommended. I hope you do take them to small claims court and are able to win.

Seriously, I would be so pissed if they admitted to it and will not pay. You should really consider "procreating" up their cars bad. Teach them how it feels when people mess and destroy your stuff. Just dent two-three door panels real good, and that will be the cost equivalent. Ruining the four tires wouldn't cost as much, but is much easier and quieter though.

Being born isn't so much the issue as is the bad parenting these little a-holes get.
Sorry to hear about your ride. That sucks, fo' sho'! I'm not familiar with the Aussie court system so I can't really comment on how to handle this. If it were here, I'd file an official police report and the take them to small claims court. Good luck, either way!
