makes me happy to live halfway between 'Cowtown' and 'The City of Champions'(come on guys, really, how long has it been since you've been champions? )

I've managed to rack up over 2000km since the beginning of January on my bike.

And as for insurance, I pay $422 per year for complete coverage ($1000000 liability, $500 deductible) for my 2005 KLR650. I'm 34yo with 13 years clean driving record.

A sportbike will be more expensive, as will pretty much any 'import' bike (Ducati, Aprillia, BMW, etc...)

I know that I will miss the nice (well warmer) weather of Seattle and being able to ride almost all year round, but will compensate with some good skiing instead!
