Well I'm not sure who said it but "surely the saddest words in any language are 'what could have been.' "

You'll never know til you try. Put on your best cologne, your lucky rocket ship underpants, and maybe show a bit of chest hair and she'll be all yours.

And bonus points for some how installing a small stereo system somewhere on your body and playing mood music as you approach her.
