Accesories? I own what is probably the only bone stock Volusia in the U.S.!
I'd vote for saving my accesory money and adding to my bike collection....

I ride a super sonic nekid standard - 
Maybe some Beetle bags - they are hardbags matched to my bikes color and body shape.
I can't think of anything I really want to add to my bike. I'm not even sure about he bags. Soft bags have worked well so far, and the Beetle bags are like $1000 for the pair, and I really don't like Givi's on my bike.

Riding year around here in NE Ohio, a windshield is my first choice in accesories. Can't count the thousands of miles I've ridden in the rain and/or cold which is much more pleasant with a windshield. 
After a windshield, some luggage is also a necessary extra. Have had a tank bag for years and added soft tail bag and saddlebags for travelling a few years ago. Got a 33L Givi trunk last spring and don't know why I waited so long to get a piece of hard luggage. Carries a weeks clothing and on our June trip south last year, we rode in some of the heaviest rains ever. Close to zero visibility on top of the Blue Ridge Parkway. That Givi bag never leaked a drop.

Suspension is cr@p on all new bikes. to really get any serious performance it needs to be at the very least upgradad (revalved and resprung) if not completely replaced with superior components (Traxxion, pensky, ohlins, fox...)
