Hey, why is it that some bike manufacturers still insist on bringing out bikes with a DRUM brake?

Anyone?

I think it's annoying as well. The "large" cruisers have disc rear as well as some of the Italian bikes. Other than that, it's drum. That was one of the things I looked for originally was dual disc.

can you swap out the rear wheel/hub assembly with one with disc? Those look like spoked wheels. Just get the right hub assembly off a bigger bike and get laces to fit. And the swing arm maybe. Or something.

Don't feel bad though, my dirtbike is dual drums.

Thanks for the suggestion. That may be an idea for later. For now, I think I'll avoid any "ripping and tearing". (HOPEFULLY!!)
