Question for my first Bike!

I do post it constantly. Like I have said before, it is a single page of all the information I wish someone had given to ME when I was learning to ride. All I wanted was a simple guide to say, "Do this first. Do this second. Do this third." and explain the whole process. Nothing like that existed. So I made it myself. I'm glad so many people find it useful.

im not saying to get a bigger bike. im just hoping you were really really kidding when you said the reason you want a 250 is to avoid killing yourself.

As for beginner bikes,
what type of bike are you looking for? cruiser? standard? sport?
cruisers- can go bigger cc's becasue they dont have crazy throttles like sports.
standards- like the ninja 250/500 are good
sports- the suzuki haybusa 1300 or a gsx-r1000, but only if you have flip-flops and a "Corona" tank top or dirty wife beater (think k-fed) to wear as safety gear when you ride it.

your a terrible person but I think what you said about the standards is a damn good idea
