Check out your local library. You can borrow and then burn copies of what you like. I'm always surprised by how many compilation albums I find at the library - and I'm not even looking for them!

hey, power ballads aren't the top of my list. im just feeling it right now.

my top favorite music genres are alternative rock and new wave.

Skynyrd is awesome. The 5-6 minute guitar solo in Freebird is enough proof of that.

Probably why I love classic rock so much. It's like 2-3 minutes of lyrics and then 4-6 minutes of guitar soloing either all at once (Layla, Freebird) or spread out through the song.

And yeah, libraries have cds, but I never get them, because the people in libraries scare me.

I love a very wide variety of music.
I will listen to anything from waylon jenings to skinny puppy, and a lot of stuff in between.

As long as it stirs something in me emotionally I'll listen to it.
