I'm not sure what the hell your talking about. If that dealer won't fix it bring to another one. There's no way you can burn out a new engine in 4 months unless you ran it without oil or antifreeze if its liquid cooled. Something is fishy.

they could see all the scraches up it from when that car got in my way (stupid b!tch slaming on her breaks at the traffic lights)

Lol, ok, not going to point out the obvious.

If you hit another car, then have your insurance pay for it. If you just hit the ground, and have full coverage, then have your insurance pay for it. If neither of those works, buy some new plastic, and put it on, then take it too the dealer and have them fix it, and don't tell them anything about riding it badly or crashing it.

I don't see how that could damage the engine internally. Scratches are just scratches. Don't have anything to do with the warranty.

Guys. Dealerships aren't stupid, and manufacturers CERTAINLY aren't.

A dealership who does warranty work does so on their own bill, then they get reimbursed by the manufacturer (Typically.) Warranty work requiring a full engine rebuild WILL REQUIRE a factory rep to come and inspect the damage. The factory rep WILL KNOW if Mr. "My gs500 needs more power" flogged the living snot out of his engine and bent valves.

Floated/bent valves and jacked up pistons aren't usually caused by a factory defect. They are caused by people who have no respect for their machines riding like asshats.

To "Deathlucky" Congratulations. You just wasted whatever money you have in that bike. Hope it was worth it. You really don't deserve it.

If you can't even observe simple instructions (such as - do not over rev the engine ) what in the hell makes you think you can rebuild an engine which requires observing clearances to the ten-thousanth of an inch!? Do you own any tools? Any shop manual, like Haynes or Clymers will give you step-by-step instructions for how to rebuild an engine.

The question is whether or not you have the ability to follow instructions (Which you've proven you don't) or the ability to be patient (Which you've proven you don't)

Next time you want to waste a few thousand dollars, just send them to me. I'll put them to much better use than you ever could.

Lol, that's what I meant by "I don't want to point out the obvious", I don't think the dealership will do anything, but I don't know what else to tell him without sounding like a dick. By the way TechBMW, what did he do wrong while riding to cause the valve stems to bend? I want to make sure I don't do it, lol.
