Nice bike, I think you made a good choice, though the yellow ones are faster ;);)
Heh, I think some of you Canucks should go by Sev's house and do a quick black spray painting. Slow him down a bit!
Boy, I will hit you so hard your granpappy'll get a bruise.

Do it! Do it! It'd take him so long to get down here that I'm not afraid! Time to start training. :boxing:

I love the 599s, it will most likely be my next bike (if I can afford something relatively new), although your radian looked good as well.

I heartily encourage others to pick up a 599 with the following warnings. The suspension isn't that GREAT, it's good, but not great. The stock seat is HARD, and getting aftermarket parts is tough, because most of the 599's are sold over in the UK, so you need to ship the stuff overseas, which ain't cheap.

That being said, you probably want the '06 as the '04 is different and was only sold in North America for one year, so getting parts for it will be tougher still, and very few companies will be making stuff for it (that being said I think the '04 looks better).

Honda's 599 is a great bike. I've been looking at them a little more closely the past couple weeks.

Though I think they're a bit overpriced new, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a very slightly used one. Mabye next spring, if I could get over my love affair with the SV650...

That Radian looks great! It's always hard to see a bike go. When I sold my Virago, after getting the FZ1, it was hard to see it leave my garage. I wanted to ride it one more time.

Congrats on the 599. That's a good lookin' bike. Sev loves his... I bet you'll enjoy it for a good long while.

Oh man, this shopping for insurance thing is just killing me. Waiting for a quote now from a company that's supposedly the cheapest if you put your bike and car through them. I doubt I'll get all that big of a discount, I wonder how these guys get their stellar rates on brand-new, supersports bikes with a crummy driving record.

Their knees must hurt.

Try dairyland insurance. They cover alot of areas and are way cheaper than Progressive.
