looks like its all carbon fiber. someone laid some SERIOUS COIN to have a custom one-off CF faring made. i came back to look at the bike again and i do like it. where did the pic come from?

Actually if they have an open front, the gills facing 'backward' would allow air to more freely pass through over the engine since the air has an exit point.
