ha. very valid point and very good one. Raceists(SP?) are just moronic beyond words and its damn stupid. Something else to ponder, why do men have nipples or do penguins have knees?

All people of the Earth have the same DNA. When the human genome was decoded one of the things they found was that race can't be determined from a persons DNA. Altho, you can infer things from DNA. As an example, a person with blonde hair & blue eyes probably isn't black.

The concept of race was created by society.

I was secretly hoping that after this evidence was shown that the racists fools would give it up. I guess they don't read tho.

I concur with Mr Gompers...If the entire human race were to go blind in the morning...would the color of your skin be an issue?I'll bet, just off hand, that most of you couldn't guess my 'race'...other than human!
Still. I remain intolerant of the worlds intolerence...and with that, I will endeaver to persevere...now go ponder that one!

If a guy attempted to mug my sister in the street, would you consider it intolerant of me if I tried to stop him? After all, this person clearly thinks mugging is OK and is merely acting on his belief. So, what right have I to intervene?

The word 'tolerance' has the notion of 'respect for others' built into it. If someone is acting without respect then there is no need to tolerate them. Tolerating an intolerant act is to collude with intolerance and therefore to uphold intolerance.

Putting this another way. Being critical of 'intolerance' is not intolerant, it's just an assertion of the principle of tolerance. You don't have to tolerate someone who is acting intolerantly.

Ummmm! anyone want another beer?

That quote seems to apply here in a larger context as well as a simpler context.

Don't forget bananas share this DNA too, so surely if i eat bananas but not brocolli, doesn't this now make me a racist?

Fruits don't have a race. Even if they did you couldn't determine their race from their DNA.
