Wile riding on my old yamaha, the rear footpeg bolt decided to fall out. wouldn't have been that bad except for the fact that it was the only thing holding that side's exhast pipe on. The threaded nut at the front of the muffler had also spun off.
zip ties to the rescue to hold the muffler together. Still there..

Case in point, on my last ride my friend had his license plate fall off, whirling shard of metallic death at 100kmh. His bolts were gone, but ZIPTIES to the rescue. Ziptied that mother back on, and away we went.
It held up for the whole ride despite very strong gusting winds (in excess of 70kmh)
thats all i use for my license plate, 4 small zipties for each corner.
zipties are the "poo poo"

I use a microfiber cloth and is the best I've used so far,will never scratch and can be used for buffing and shining and dusting and can be used to wash your bike.
