There are plenty of high-temp paints designed for exhaust systems.

You can get high temperature paints, the exhaust heads on my bike are painted black.

Just kidding i know enuff to use high temp paint. Thanks for the input all. they have been successfully repainted to black. they look much better without the rust and the silver rash. :clap: yay me!

i think they are gonna need another coat. the neighbor decided to have a smoke while they were drying, and it seems there is some ash stuck in the paint.

Get a photobucket account (it's free), upload your picture to your album on photobucket. Then copy the url link for that pic, and use the img tags to put it in your post.
