why are Canadian prices so much more than US prices? They are *way* above the exchange rate for US MSRP.

Different bikes.

Canadians are getting this:

Aluminum frame, bigger fork, adjustable rear suspesion, bigger front brake, 17" wheels, etc

Aparently they used frames in such a way that, though I was looking at a 250, the link was to a 650. Sigh.

Shrug. I've "officially" been both... most of the time it's all same same.

Never been a big fan of frames, and IMO using frames is the designer's call.
