why are Canadian prices so much more than US prices? They are *way* above the exchange rate for US MSRP.

Canadians are getting this:

US buyers get this:

US Ninja 250

Aluminum frame, bigger fork, adjustable rear suspesion, bigger front brake, 17" wheels, etc

Aparently they used frames in such a way that, though I was looking at a 250, the link was to a 650. Sigh.

designers make the pretty pictures, but developers make it into a web site.

There is a difference :) Lot of differences actually.

Shrug. I've "officially" been both... most of the time it's all same same. :laughing: Never been a big fan of frames, and IMO using frames is the designer's call. :lol:
