When I began buying my own, Dad was amazed at how much further he could go on a tank of gas. :mrgreen:

I accidentally swallowed a big gulp of leaded regular once. Honest... I didn't mean to. Burped continuously for what seemed like a month. No doubt there's probably irreparable damage to something or other. :woot:

We sure knew how to have fun in the old days, didn't we, Gene? I bet nowdays, kids actually buy gas, or maybe the modern equal to siphoning is to just drive off real fast without paying.....maybe even taking the hose, too. :)

down here we would let the county pay for our gas--the school buses filled up every tuesday.they parked a bunch of them on the school ball field.

I saw we import all the oil we can, and then after the rest of the world is dry, we can still use our own. :laughing:
