Love the Relayer background dr_bar. Infact I'm diggin' on The Gates of Delirium right now! (I'm only 19 and I've seen Yes in concert and I have every album!)

I understand the advantages of buying used, but what are the mileage limits on a used bike? I've been shopping for a used bike, and I've found quite a few in good condition, but with a lot of miles on them.

For example, would a 4 year with 30K miles be acceptable?

No different than a car really Andrew. As long as its in good shape, hasn't been abused (more than cosmetically) and is a decent price, 30K isn't a lot of mileage. Used bikes, especially smaller ones, are in high demand.
