No one is perfect, everyone has their own ideas and best guesses on how to do things. Most of us are powerless to affect real change. Sometimes people gain power though money/politics/violence etc.

These people are seperate from the teeming masses for various reasons, ability/charisma/ruthlessness etc. They do the best job they can do with the resources they have.

I don't agree with a lot of what is done in politics in geneneral, but I do know that these guys are doing what they have to do. George Bush (the younger) isn't saying, "hey lets kill some babies today, just because" He is trying to guide our country along the safest path he can find. It may be right, it may be wrong, but he is trying and not just complaining. I also think he is extracting a little revenge, he's human.

The same with Bill Clinton. Clinton had the pure charisma to charm a nation. He was probably the most intellengent leader of my time. I admire Bill Clinton for several reasons, he is smart, charming and ruthless. Most people don't think of him as Ruthless, but ask Vince Foster about that. People say that Hillary is the driving force behind ol Bill, but Ken Starr and all of Congress couldn't manipulate him into giving up the presidency. I doubt Hillary really is as dynamic as everyone makes her out to be. Clinton is also our nations biggest disappointment, he could have done so much. He chose to be VERY indiscrete about engaging in extramarital relations with an intern. He had to dedicate so much of his time and resources to defending himself, the American people were robbed.

In the end, Republican, Democrat, Green, Libertarian, whatever. The American people will continue to flourish. We have a fair degree of geographic isolation, a good (not great) industrial infrastructure, enough food to feed the world, not to mention a truly gigantic defense budget.

Ya know, you're no better than the terrorists if you're serious about "lending a hand" to kill Bush. I never supported Clinton but I sure as hell don't wanna see him die or get hurt. Grow up dude.
