interesting HD notes

I hear....
Most of the parts for HD are made in China, nearly 65% with the engines now made in eastern europe and the wheels in Australia
Actually, nothing realy made in the US of A

I was in India last summer for a month, the middle class is expanding exponentially. When I was growing up the only cars we had were Fiats and a few Indian brands. Now there were Toyotas, Hondas, Lexus, etc all over the place. I'm sure HD will do very well for the middle class. The average bike size is 125cc, and a 250cc is considered large, so I don't think we're going to see any 883 Sportsters.

As far as if there'll be enough middle class people, well the last statistic I read about the middle class is that they were just pushing beyond 200 million.
