Yeah I'm kind of hesitant leaving my helmet on my bike. My bike has a helmet lock on it, but what is stopping someone from cutting the strap and taking the helmet? Sure, it won't have a strap but you could replace the strap for maybe $15? Or some punk hawking a loogie on the inside of it and you smashing that on your skull later on

I'd be more worried about finding garbage in it. I carry mine around with me, I figure it'll be a good makeshift weapon should the need arise.

if your strap is long enough, you could lock your d ring of your helmet in your locker lock, just thread the hasp through the d ring.

That's why you need to look at the link i posted.
The cable can run through the face shield of a full face helmet.
The casual theif won't have cable cutters on him.

I don't want my helmet being tainted...

I've seen these, but they don't seem to make much sense to me. Though I guess a guy with a bolt cutter, would attract just as much attention as someone with a screw driver. I'm leaning towards those cable locks, as it requires the least amount of modification and mula.

I don't live anywhere near Ontario... I live near Edmonton, in Alberta....
Actually there were 4 stabbings last week when the oilers won a game. And one guy got his head kicked in... I'd like to have a weapon on hand sometimes.
