The only way replacing your muffler will make your scooter go any faster is if you replace it with a rocket engine.

I'll agree with CNF2002. A rocket may be the way to go.
Actually replacing the muffler with something more "high-flow" MAY give it a speed boost but very marginal. I wouldn't say 15mph, but maybe a few. Unless the new muffler weighs alot more and there is a steeper hill. It might go faster that way. Gravity is awesome for that!

thats not what I am saying at all, I am saying a muffler might give you more speed, but more likely what will give you more speed is a different sized rear sproket

Ahhhh, a lighter muffler could increase your speed...
Drop 10-15lbs would make a huge difference.

its worth it to spend the money on full exust system. i jave have a bolt on yushimua (didnt feel like looking up spelling) right now. is it worth to spend the money and get headers and pips and all?

Absolutely.
The exhaust still has to get through the restrictive stock headers, midpipe and collector before reaching a nice open bolt-on can.
Plus the weight saving is phenomenal. My Hindle full system weighs 8lbs!
