Anyone ever fall in a mesh jacket?

did he not have the armor in that arms?
i have a smiliar jacket to that, except that the arms or perforated leather, and there is armor at the elbows. It looks like his is missing the elbow armor?

One think to look for in any jacket is that you can cinch the area on the arms to make it tight enough so that when you fall the armor will not only protect you from the initial impact but also stay in place so when you start sliding it doesn't move with the road and leave the mesh part to do the rest of the protecting.

I'd like to post a picture of my Phoenix jacket after the accident maybe soon. It looks almost brand new but again its bulky in the forearms, elbows, shoulder and back due to double padding so I look like a spaceman as people say.
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

Exactly.
It looks like mesh does not have the rigidity needed to hold the armour in place once it encounters the road.

Mesh is fine. Got side swipped @ 30mph and went flying about 10ft and rolling another 10ft.

I came out fine and so did the jacket (its a Teknic). [/img]
