Oh Geoff - you got a KBC like I have! I quite like mine and how it fits but that visor clip system is what Sev hates about it (see his blog). In fact, the clip has fallen off on me about 6 or 7 times now. The guy at the cycle shop tried to run off the last time I came in with it cause he no doubt thought he'd have to fix it again but it was to give them to return to the manufacturer. Hopefully I will get it or a replacement back soon. Good luck with yours though. Also the guy at the cycle shop said he has NEVER had a problem with his KBC yet. I must've gotten a bad clip one.

Oh and great on the bike! Congrats!

Nice deal, but see you got stuck with the helmet model as well. He'll be demanding to ride your bike, free board and meals, and pretty soon to sleep with your lady.

That's where they getcha.

I have a VR1 and I love it, the clip system is what makes it great though IMO.
My next helmet for my next bike (ETA 1 week hopefully) will be a Scorpion though.

It's an i2 as opposed to an i4. It has a smoother powerband, less agressive seating, and lighter clutch then the 636.

And it probably puts out 1/2 the horsepower and 30% less torque, as well as haaving much weaker breaks, but other than that...

Just got back after 69 miles of riding (heh). It stops good. Still gitting the shifting down on it. BUT the best part is, someone tailgates you on the highway, it's click-click-BUHBYE. It's comfy enough, though my knees aren't used to it quite yet. PS - $7 to fill it up.

It handles like a dream. I only came home at dark becuase dad was worrying a lot when i left.

I thought you were primarily an offroad rider. Is that what's different to you?
