BTW, if its not raining here tomorrow I'm gonna go check out the FZ6 & SV650.
Are you looking to upgrade from the VLX as well?
Yes I am. I find the VLX doesn't have enough power to pass on the highway and its a little too buzzy for me at highway speeds.

Prolly will wait till the end of summer tho unless I can find a good deal on a bike. Its prolly easier to get good deals on bikes during the winter.
Goodluck, I understand all those reasons! Hopefully you'll get lucky of off craigslist or something like that.

i gave up on sticking to red. but i guess burgundy is pretty close to red.

it had grown on me quickly the more i looked at it at the dealership. it looks ominous. 8)

oh well, it doesn't matter to me now.

my regular riding gear will still look good on it though since it has a lot more black than red unlike my 1pc.

Stupid "procreating" bastrd!!! The guy who was supposed to buy the bike from changed the terms of the deal AFTER the auction ended, needless to say he has been reported to ebay (not like they are going to do anything).

Those bandits are sweet.

In about a year I'm planning to get a V-strom... but if when I'm strom shopping I encounter a bandit at a good price I'm not sure I'll be able to resist the temptation. I've seen a few and they look really nice, plus the prices are sane.
Ride it like you think owning it matters.

Well I've got 11000 km that say the Honda 599 is a great bike if you don't get the Bandit.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
