My best friend was riding his XT225 down the road and had a yellow jacket wedge in between his cheekbone and helmet and start stinging away.

Yet another reason to wear a fullface.

i was riding two up with my gf at the time once and my face shield was closed. Then, a big wasp slowly trots its way across the INSIDE of my faceshield of my fullface, an inch from my eyes.
I slowly pulled over, told her to get off, put the kickstand down without moving my head, then ripped my helmet off and started flailing around like MC Hammer on crack (humpty).

I didnt get stung luckily. My gf had no idea what I was doing.
I found the bug an hour later at my destination, wedged between my sheild and the helmet near the part where it pivots. It was dead.

Serves him right.

The little ones that get into the visor are bad enough, I can't imagine a wasp! Then there's the really good aim ones that SPLAT right in front of your eye spreading enough to block your vision at least one the one side. Maybe we should open up and just start eating em all...

It could be worse....

A bunch of honey bees could mistake you for a great big flower and start crawling around looking for your sweet sweet nectar. That was about two weeks ago...

Yellow helmet... and a yellow jacket... and a yellow bike... I'm at a railroad crossing with a freight train crossing the road so I couldn't really leave... and honey bees start flying up. Honey bees really really like yellow... Not just one, but one, two, three, four... I lost track when they started crawling on my neck and trying to get under the chin bar and into my jacket.
