Ahhh, most of the signals aren't really that important.
Few riders use arm signals to declare left or right turns.
Other then that, it's mostly stuff that the leader does: single file, staggered. Slow down, speed up, etc etc etc. Point at tank means low on gas...
Other then that, it's mostly follow the guy in front of you and do what he does (as long as he stays on the road). Watch the signal and brake lights.

If you have a shield you can get one of those waving hand thingies that can be stuck to the shield with spit and a suction cup.

Another handy signal to know is the "helmet tap", which signals to other riders that there are LEOs nearby. That or the palm pushing down "slow down" signal can help you help others avoid a ticket.

if you are looking for ways to signal your riding partners you could also agree to a set of signal light or brake/head light flashes that are keyed by some other motion like a head tap or leg gesture kind of like.
right leg comes off the peg followed by a left signal and then a right signal means pass me and take the lead, or something like that.

No offense, it's a good idea, but I just had this image of the lead guy dancing around on his bike and then everyone in the group giving each other the WTF look trying to figure out what he just said.
